Ceramic Fiber Board
Ceramic fiber boards are rigid, high-temperature insulation panels manufactured through a vacuum forming process from a wet slurry of alumina-silica fibers and binders. These boards provide excellent thermal stability, low heat storage, and strong structural integrity in demanding industrial environments. Available in various grades and densities, ceramic fiber boards can withstand temperatures up to 1430°C and offer superior resistance to thermal shock, chemical attack, and high-velocity airflow. Their rigid yet machinable structure makes them suitable for both hot-face linings and precision-cut components.
Ideal for furnace linings, back-up insulation, and areas exposed to hot gas erosion.
Key Features
Low Thermal Conductivity & Heat Storage
Effectively reduces heat transfer, improving energy efficiency and temperature control. Ensures outstanding insulation and energy efficiency.
High Strength & Erosion Resistance
Rigid and self-supporting, with excellent modulus of rupture and resistance to mechanical stress. Maintains integrity under direct flame or gas flow.
Excellent Thermal Shock Resistance
Performs reliably under rapid temperature fluctuations without cracking or spalling.
Uniform Density & Easy Installation
Smooth surface, consistent quality, easy to cut and fit.
Resistance to Molten Metal
Non-wettable by molten aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, ideal for foundry and metal processing applications.
Asbestos-Free & Safe
Contains no hazardous materials, suitable for direct flame contact and high-temperature sealing.
Industry
Application
Back linings for ladles, bell furnaces, tunnel kilns, and roller kilns.
Used as lining and back-up insulation in various thermal systems.
For melting furnaces, glass kilns, and insulation panels.
Applied on outer walls, ducts, and hot gas channels for thermal protection.
